Trials & Results
Harlow Agricultural Merchants Ltd have, for many years, undertaken independent trials both at their Latchmore Bank site and at Harps Farm, Great Hallingbury with permission from AC & J Streeter & Sons.
The purpose of these trials is to provide our customers with independent evaluations of both new and established cereal varieties. In addition, through testing different chemical regimes our advisors are able to offer informed agronomy advice specific to our trading area.
The trials form a focus point for our Farmer Open Days which are held every June. In addition, HAM is involved in a number of local farmer demonstration/trial sites which provide us with further useful information on variety performance in our area.
